Janine grew up in New York City dabbling in painting, drawing, theater, music, writing etc.  Discovering her love for photography during her teenage years in Jacksonville, Florida, she has been hooked ever since.  At Savannah College of Art and Design, Janine honed her technical skills and explored her love for concepts and creating photographic stories.  She furthered her knowledge when she interned for Alex Prager and Williams + Hirakawa in Los Angeles and Liz Von Hoene in Atlanta.  After receiving her Bachelor's in Photography, Janine moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where she developed her artistic style and professional direction.  With a love for artistic fashion photography, she has been driven by photographers such as Helmut Newton, Ellen Von Unwerth, Miles Aldridge and Bruno Dayan.

Still utilizing her love of conceptual storytelling, Janine's fashion and beauty work has a strong use of color, line and shape with a moody, dark undertone.  She often finds inspiration from location scouting and the environment around her in addition to films and other artistic mediums.
